HOMC CUPS for Corrosion Under Pipe Supports Inspection
Severe corrosion occurs at the support regions of the pipes. Using HOMC guided waves on stream, the CUPS scanner detects and estimates corrosion loss in pipe supports. Supports range from simple resting supports, welded sacrificial pads to clamp supports.
HOMC TAPS for Onstream Annular Ring Inspection
The annular plate region of above ground storage tanks is prone to accelerated corrosion due to multiple stresses. With the HOMC TAPS robotic scanner, corrosion can be detected in the region is inspected with our novel ultrasonic guided wave technique, which uses Higher Order Modes Clusters (HOMC).
